Raising Teenagers With Dignity
Show Notes

During this month’s episode of The Dignity Dialogue, Joe sits down with his friend and colleague, April Strom-Johnson. April is one inspiring soul who leaves a lasting impact on anyone who crosses her path. Not only is she the Organizational Health Leadership Coach and Director of Curriculum at Prophit Co., but she’s also a vocal performance coach, a local performer herself and a service-oriented individual helping underprivileged youth here in the US and those struggling across the world.

In this episode, Joe and April discuss how to raise teenagers (and kids in general) with dignity. They stress the importance of teaching values like respect, kindness and focus while allowing them autonomy to discover who they are and how they’ll get there.

A must-hear for all parents!

April Strom-Johnson was raised by her grandparents in a small farm town. By the age of 5, she was singing everywhere from church and schools to nursing homes, and later in musicals. April was always taught that there was greatness in her no matter what others thought and despite some poor choices. April is a graduate of UW-Wisconsin Green Bay. Having a deep desire to inspire young people, April began teaching vocal performance at a local studio and privately in 2007. She is a popular local performer in community theatre, as well as in live performances with other musicians. Prophit Co. is thrilled to have her on our team as an Organizational Health Leadership Coach and Director of Curriculum.
